The MECA building in the centre of town hosts a roller disco night on the first Friday of each month. It's fun for people who've been before and will be fun for first timers as well. It will involve skating to the best music from the 80s/90s/00s has to offer inside a large open-air concert hall.
The skates, which can be hired at £2, are the truck style and not inline. If you have your own, you're welcome to bring them along and pay no fee to use.
